Evolution of Inclusion

It is Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the USA. I complete this series of posts in honouring of him and a shared dream by many, by sharing with you today a FB challenge a classmate and I created for our Exceptionalities Studies Assignment a couple months ago.

It is a 15 day challenge/celebration. I will post links here daily directing whoever feels like it to check it out. There will be a simple mindfulness challenge for each post.

The intention of sharing this is to contribute to more awareness, hope and desire for more inclusive environments not only in schools but everywhere, and for everyone.

HERE IS THE LINK TO TODAY'S POST: Inclusion is todays theme. Note: there are more links today because it is the start of it all. FB Challenge post: https://lperry94.wixsite.com/exce.../post/facebook-challenge Promoting Inclusion posts: https://lperry94.wixsite.com/.../our.../categories/inclusion

HERE IS THE CHALLENGE/CELEBRATION: -Connect with someone that you would not typically connect with either through a smile or kind welcoming and honouring gesture, conversation, or an intentional thought/prayer. -Check out Shelly Moore's 5 min youtube on Evolution of Inclusion. She is great! . Dream Big!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQgXBhPh5Zo
